My work in the press

Interview for Cycle-cc|September 2025
At the beginning of 2025, I had the chance to join Cycle-cc , a collective
of designers passionate about their profession, people and transmission.
On this occasion, I had the chance to participate in an interview
which I share with you here in the form of a Linkedin article.
I discuss my career, my practice of design applied to jewelry and precious objects, my vision of mentoring and transmission, as well as what motivates me today to support brands in the creation of unique projects.

Constance Texier — Independent Designer — Jewelry & Precious Objects
WHO AM I?
I’m an independent designer, specializing in jewelry and precious objects, after spending eight years at Christian Dior.
Today, I design and develop creations for jewelry houses, luxury brands, and lifestyle labels seeking a sensitive, graphic, and narrative-driven universe.
My world revolves around color, playfulness, textures, graphic repetition, and a vision deeply shaped by Art History, world cultures, and traditional know-how. I’m inspired by my travels, human encounters, stories, patterns, shapes, and visual influences gathered around the globe.
Narrative plays a central role in my work. I love imagining jewelry as objects that tell a story, evoke an emotion, a memory, or an imaginary world. If I hadn’t become a designer, I would probably have become a writer.
MY BACKGROUND
Graduated in Industrial Design & Design Management (Master II) from the Institut Supérieur de Design (ISD) in 2017, I also spent a year on exchange at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where I discovered my first luxury-related projects.
MY YEARS AT DIOR
For just over eight years, I worked as a Watch and Accessories Designer at Christian Dior Couture.
During this time, I contributed to the design and development of Haute Horlogerie collections, unique pieces, and ultra-limited editions.
I notably took part in the creation of the “Grand Soir Automate Étoile de Monsieur Dior”, a dreamlike piece combining movement, narrative, and poetry — awarded at the GPHG 2023 (Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève).
This piece, like many others I worked on, illustrates my passion for precision, detail, storytelling, and precious materials.
Alongside watchmaking, I also contributed to jewelry designs for Dior Homme fashion shows under the artistic direction of Kris van Assche, and to Dior’s pen collections.
This experience shaped me. It instilled in me a love for excellence, a passion for craftsmanship, the rigor of creative development, and a profound respect for collaborative work across artisans, creators, partners, and métiers d’art.
WHAT I OFFER TODAY
As an independent designer, I now support jewelry houses, luxury brands, and creative studios in the development of jewelry or precious object collections.
I work B2B, tailor-made, and offer a comprehensive creative approach:
-
Inspiration research aligned with brand heritage
-
Hand or digital sketches based on desired style
-
3D modeling to explore volumes and shapes
-
Realistic renderings & 3D animations for presentations or communication
-
Delivery of drawings & technical sheets for production
Each project is unique. Each collaboration is a human encounter.
A MONTHLY CREATIVE RENDEZVOUS: THE CREATIVE CHALLENGES
Since May 2025, I’ve been running a monthly Creative Challenge on my Instagram account.
Each month, my community votes on a theme, which I translate into a mini jewelry collection of:
-
2 rings
-
2 necklaces
-
2 bracelets
This playful and engaging process, at the crossroads of trendwatching, intuition, and experimentation, allows me to explore new ideas, color palettes, gemstones, formats, and compositions.
The collections are revealed through 3D drawings, realistic renderings, and often animations.
A COLLECTIVE COMMITMENT: CYCLE CREATIVE CLUB
Since 2025, I’ve been a member of the Cycle Creative Club, a collective of designers.
This network allows me to:
-
connect with fellow designers
-
exchange ideas and practices
-
mentor young talents and students
-
take part in forward-thinking projects, often blending experimentation and strategic design
It is a space for openness, learning, and collaboration that profoundly nourishes my creative practice.
